Highest Crossing of the Alps in construction in Zermatt

After the construction of Matterhorn glacier ride I (Leitner 3S) from Zermatt to Kleinen Matterhorn in 2018 started now the contruction on italian side. The Matterhorn glacier ride II, again a  3S Ropeway build by Leitner, starts at Testa Grigia to the Kleinen Matterhorn. 

Already in winter 2021/22 it will be possible to cross the mountains per ropeway from Zermat to Breuil.Cervignia! reaching heights up to 3800m!
