Characteristics
The lift had wooden pillars, until it was completely rebuilt in 1968 by Doppelmayr.

Ran parallel to Osthangbahn, valley station was at the end of the flat way of the blue ski trail no. 50 and ended at the point, where the funslope exists today.
Until the breakdown of the Osthanglift T-bar the mountain station was a massive building for bothe T-bars.
In summer 2001 the mountainstation building was demolished (due to the new drive) and replaced by a steel skeleton.

The elevator was demolished in 2006 with the construction of the new Galzigbahn, because mistakenly was thought that this elevator had been redundant with the discharge capacity of the Galzigbahn, but unfortunately that was not the way.
